Today we are publishing the following review written for our villa in Tuscany from our guests who have rented the villa for two weeks in September:
Title of review: A family holiday of a lifetime
Review: We celebrated my 60 th birthday with 10 family members: with the three boys of us and their wonderful girlfriends and another young couple.
This Tuscan villa was the perfect setting for our holiday,situated in the lovely tuscany countryside; at several evenings we could watch deers coming out of the forrest to feed on the grass just a few hundered meters away.
The large pool was a steasdy source for fun, well maintained by Valerio who was our outstanding landlord: he was a perfect resource of advice for our trips and activities ( horse riding, trapp shooting,restaurants, wine tasting….) Valerio and Paola were the most wonderful hosts, very decent, always helpfull and full of Italian spirit and humour.The secret extra was the most lovely tomcat we ever met:it strolled over to us and became part of our family in this week
The Villa is very well equipped with all kind of kitchen devices so it was very enjoyable to prepare the meals for even this large group.
Valerio took care for a good supply on firewood so we could use the three fire chimneys at several romantic evening sessions,and we had additional access to a barbecue , we even tried once to bake pizza ( with limited success)
The spacious ground was perfect for all kind of sport activities like volleyball or speedminton, during our stay there was not as much wind as we expected from the villas video ( even our skite did not work)
The area arround the Villa is less populated than the southern part of Tuscany, so it may take arround 15 minutes for the shopping in Volterra or San Gimingiano , we visited additionally Pisa , Firenze, Livorno and Lucca and some of our youngsters made a trip to the sea.
We had a really exceptionnaly nice holiday – the wonderful hosts , the spacious and well kept villa and the calm environement was for us the perfect setting. We will recommend this villa to our friends – and say “millelgracie ” to our outstanding italian couple Valerio and Paola

Rent Villa Volterra August

Holiday villa for rent in Volterra in August.
Possibility to rent the entire villa for families with children or groups of friends to a total of 10 -12 people.
Here we show one of the many positive reviews about the location of the villa in Volterra.
The review, published on Tripadvisor, has been written by our British guests who have rented the entire villa in August. The group was composed of 2 families with children who have rented this house for the third year.

Title: Brilliant Tuscan Holiday Villa
Review: Stayed in the Villa le Ginepraie for a week in August and had a fantastic time. We shared the villa with our friends and both families enjoyed a great holiday. The villa is situated just off the beaten track a few kilometres from Volterra in Tuscany, on a peaceful rolling tuscan hill, but it is easy to reach Volterra, Siena or St Gigmangno. It really is the Tuscany you see in all the brochures.
The villa is beautifully appointed and decorated but very easy to live in and it has a large pool that our children loved. Both families have teenage children.
The villa was well equipped, as we had the whole villa we had a choice of kitchens! The whole place is very clean, tidy and well maintained
Valerio and Paola are excellent hosts, helpful when you need it, but never obtrusive and they speak good english.
There are plenty of restaurants in the area, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, local sights and events to keep you busy if you want to. Try to visit the eccentric cheese maker nearby he is a real character.
We very much hope to go back again one day.

The size of the house is 400 square meters on two levels, with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms with fireplace and 3 kitchens (so families can eat it all together and have their own privacy). At the entrance of this villa a beautiful loggia with table will allow you to eat outside even on rainy days

The garden is 5000 square meters with a beautiful panoramic swimming pool equipped with deck chairs in teak with mattresses, chairs, tables and umbrellas, an old stone oven in front of the lodge, can be used for cooking, while on the roof terrace, guests can dine while enjoying spectacular sunsets

Holiday apartments in Tuscany

This farmhouse in Tuscany, Volterra is divided into three large holiday apartments, from 90 to 120 square meters, all with satellite TV and fireplace. We have a large ground floor apartment with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room, ideal for families with children. On the first floor there are two large apartments with amazing panoramic view. The villa is surrounded by hills, woods, fields, and you can see many wild animals.

This Tuscan villa can also be rented in its entirety thus having the whole garden and the swimming pool in their exclusive use. [more info]

Review: Our holiday was very special to Ginepraie. For us nature lovers it was fantastic to hear the smells, the sounds, enjoy at any time of the landscape that seems designed. We highly recommend this hotel surrounded by nature. The apartment was spacious, clean and attention to detail, as well as the garden and the pool. You can rent the whole villa, so you can enjoy total privacy.
5 are the bedrooms with bathrooms, 3 kitchens and three living rooms with fireplace. The garden of 5000 square meters allows you to enjoy the views on the hills, a beautiful lodge will give you the opportunity to eat together on a wooden table. The villa also has a terrace with a table for 12 people and a stone oven.
The swimming pool of the villa in Tuscany is located in a panoramic position. it has teak loungers with mattresses, chairs, tables and umbrellas.

Title of Review: Heaven on earth
Review: we had a wonderful holiday with ours family (there were 12 persons).
The villa is for me a 5 star hotel.
Each room has a bathroom and shower. To me, this is very important because everyone has their own independence. Then although there were five children, he did not feel the noise in the rooms.
There are 3 beautiful kitchens and there is the opportunity to eat either outside or under the loggia.
The pool is beautiful.
We were greeted like royalty. The owner lives very close with his wife and little girl. The owners are always available at the same time very discreet, so you do not feel observed. For me, this villa is to be recommended to all!!

Review: Lovely and very quiet Farmhouse. Paola Valerio are really friendly and hospitable, always present and available in all our requests. The apartment at this Tuscan farmhouse is very clean and spacious, overlooking the cultivated hills where you can go to various excursions through the woods and lakes. The geographic location of this Tuscan Farmhouse makes an extremely easy movements for the various cities in the area (Volterra, San Gimignano, Chianti, Siena, etc. ..). What I can add is that surely will return in late September to enjoy once again this year, all of this paradise.
