Tibetan singing bowls in Tuscany villa

meditation in tuscanyOur villa in Tuscany offers meditations with Tibetan bells.
Tibetan monks of over 3,000 have used these bowls to achieve balance both from a health standpoint and to achieve spiritual balance.
Tibetan bells are composed of seven metals (gold, silver, copper, lead, iron, mercury and tin) which correspond to the 7 celestial bodies and the 7 chakras.
The vibrations produced by the Tibetan bells manage to modify the cells of the body, also interacting with the nervous system and the neurons, thus causing a great mental relaxation.
At the end of a Yoga class in Villa, after a guided meditation and relaxation you will hear the sound of our Tibetan singing bowls that will further help you reach a deep level of physical and spiritual relaxation

Free course in Tuscany to learn the 5 Tibetans

5 rituals Tibetans in Tuscany

Villa le Ginepraie offers to all guests who rent Tuscany villa for a week, a free course to learn the art of five ancient Tibetan rites.

During the week you will start to become familiar with this practice and then be able to carry out independently at home.

The Five Tibetans are a number of yoga exercises that were disclosed for the first time by Peter Kelder in his pamphlet “The Eye of Revelation” written in 1939.

In it Kelder says she became aware of the rites by Mr. Bradford, retired Colonel in the British Army, who would have discovered a mysterious and remote Tibetan monastery whose monks were aware of the secret of the “fountain of youth”. The secret consists in the daily practice of five exercises (called “rituals”)

Yoga lessons in Tuscany – Review from Tripadvisor

Title: Like visiting family, only better
Rewiew: Villa Le Ginepraie was the perfect location for our recent yoga trip. It offered both inside rooms for cooler morning classes and the great outdoors to take advantage of the stunning views of the Tuscan hills in the later afternoon. The property consists of a main building where the rooms are, and a separate dining building for meals. The pool is mere steps away. A perfect location for reading, sunbathing and relaxing. Our “room” which was more like an apartment, was pristine upon arrival and huge, with a full kitchen, living room and spacious bathroom and great shower.Paola and Valerio served two tasty meals daily using local ingredients accompanied by local wines & spirits. My favorite dish was Paola’s home made pasta with a simple tomato sauce. Her desserts were SO delicious. Paola and Valerio were amazing, generous hosts. If you’re into it, hiking and biking abound. Or if you prefer, exploring the towns nearby that are close enough to visit easily with a car. Room Tip: They are all great, but the top two rooms are the biggest with the best views.

Passionate Hospitality in the Heart of Tuscany
This was our first time visiting Tuscany with a group of guests joining a “Yoga Retreat / Exploring Tuscany” Trip organized by RoxAnn Madera (yoga therapist) and myself. We had picked “Villa Le Ginepraie ” after a thorough research and we were proven right in any aspect. The villa is nestled ideally in the beautiful and quiet landscape between the lovely and history packed small towns Volterra and San Gimignano. The rooms and apartments are offering space, amenities and furniture, which make your stay pleasant and blend classic countryside architecture with present requests for comfort. A pool, numerous lounge chairs, patio furniture add to the quality and invite to relax. A big lawn and alternatively the generous living space of our apartment offered plenty of space for the yoga classes. We had booked the villa including Breakfast and Dinner service. Offered in an adjacent building we enjoyed, seated together at a large table, the amazing variety and tasteful quality of Italian kitchen, always competent prepared and offered by our hosts Paola and her husband Valerio and often also accompanied by the lovely smile of their cute little daughter Viola. We were impressed by the passionate hospitality of our hosts, their always considerate and helpful attitude, their great support, when one of our guests became ill. It was a true pleasure to feel Paola’s and Valerio’s warm and genuine friendly approach to our group. Saying good-bye, felt almost sad, as it was like parting from good friends. We can definitely recommend to experience this great location and the hospitality of its owners to anybody who seeks either relaxation or a perfect hub to explore one of the nicest areas in Italy or as we did, enjoys to do both. Consiglio sulle camere: The double rooms offer plenty of space and comfort for two. The apartments offer anything you need for a longer stay, where you intend to prepare own meals, gather with accompanying friends or add more sleeping space on sofa beds

Rental of the villa to yoga groups:

Yoga Teachers intending to rent the Tuscan villa for a week of Yoga retreat with their disciples will enjoy the assistance of Paola and Valerio as regard to preparation of breakfasts, lunches and dinners, organisation of transfers, and tours.
